This Spring, the Three Village Community Trust hosted a special Earth Week Celebration.
As the leader of The Stony Brook Train Station Beautification Project, the Trust brought together service groups, government officials, and residents to complete a variety of tasks at the station’s grounds: weeding, litter removal, tree trimming, etc. It was a great day for Everyone!
Of note, over the past two years, members of the Three Village Community Trust, along with the North Suffolk Garden Club, the Three Village Civic Association, the Three Village Chamber of Commerce, the Three Village Historical Society, the Three Village Rotary and the faculty, staff and students at the Stony Brook School have partnered to revitalize the train station’s landscaped beds. Helping every step of the way has been the MTA/LIRR, the Town of Brookhaven’s Jonathan Kornreich and Suffolk County Legislator Steven Englebright
