The Hawkins House

The interior restoration of the Hawkins House on Christian Avenue will be a focus of the Trust in 2025.

Our community has a deep historical connection to the people of Ukraine.

It was during the last half of the 1800’s, that a vast number of Eastern Europeans fled persecution to seek a better life in the United States. Many of these immigrants arrived in Setauket to work in the Rubber Factory that employed thousands of men, woman, and children. Today, the Trust’s Factory Houses are a visible reminder of this American Experience. CLICK HERE TO DONATE!
